• Maximum Age: 26 Years

• Crucial Date for Educational Qualification: 31/10/2025. (As per Notification)

• OBC : 3 Years | SC / ST: 5 Years
• PwBD: UR/EWS – 10 Years | OBC – 13 Years | SC/ST – 15 Years etc.

All common rules apply :

• Only full-time regular Diplomas are accepted (not part-time/distance).
• Not Eligible: Professional qualifications (BE/B.Tech, MBA, CA, CS, CMA, MCA, PhD).
• Sandwich/Lateral entry Diplomas eligible if recognized by AICTE/UGC/State Board.
• Final mark sheet/diploma must be produced by 31/10/2025.
• CGPA/OGPA conversion strictly as per institute norms; fractions not rounded up.

How To Apply Online IOCL Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025 Form

• Apply online only through IOCL portal: https://iocl.com/latest-job-opening (link active on IOCL website).
• Photograph: Recent (captured April 2025 or later), size 4.5 cm × 3.5 cm, JPG/JPEG format, specified file size.
• Signature: Black ink, JPG/JPEG format, specified size. Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS will not be accepted.
• Left Thumb Impression: On white paper, black/blue ink, JPG/JPEG format, specified size.
• Portal also captures a live photo via webcam/mobile. Uploaded and live photos must match.
• Only one application should be submitted. If multiple applications are submitted, the latest will be considered and earlier ones rejected.
• Upload all images (photo, signature, thumb impression) strictly as per file-size and dimension rules (Annexure III). Application will not be registered if uploads are missing/incorrect.
• Pay the application fee (if applicable) online through integrated payment gateway using Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, IMPS, UPI, or Mobile Wallet. Wait for server confirmation and download e-Receipt. If e-Receipt is not generated, payment is deemed failed.

Mode Of Examination : Computer Based Test (CBT) with Negative marking: –0.25 for each wrong answer

Stages of Selection :

• Computer Based Test (CBT) (Weightages 85%)
• Group Discussion (GD) and Group Task (GT) (Weightages 05%)
• Personal Interview (PI) (Weightages 10%)
• Pre-Employment Medical Examination (PEME) technical and fitness parameters before joining.

Pay Scale :

• For Junior Engineer/Officer : Rs. 30,000 – 1,20,000/- (initial basic pay ₹30,000 per month). In addition: DA and other allowances as per Corporation rules (HRA/subsidized housing, medical, gratuity, CPF, PRP, LTC/LFA, etc.)

Service Bond :

• Selected candidates must execute a bond to serve IOCL for minimum 3 years from date of joining.
• General: ₹2,00,000/- (Two Lakhs only)
• EWS / OBC(NCL) / SC / ST / PwBD: ₹35,000/- (Thirty-Five Thousand only)

Travel Reimbursement :

• SC/ST/PwBD candidates attending CBT: reimbursed 3rd AC rail fare or actual fare (whichever is lower) – claim via TA form and bank mandate at CBT.
• Candidates called for GD/GT/PI: reimbursed 2nd AC rail fare or actual fare (whichever is lower) – subject to distance ≥ 30 Kms and submission of tickets and valid bank details (account in candidate’s name).
